Dr. Soonawalla trained in Urology in Mumbai, at the KEM Hospital, where he obtained the MS in Surgery, then the MCh in Urology and National Board Examination in Urology. Further trained in London at the Institute of Urology and Middlesex Hospitals from 1993 to 1995. Worked in London as Consultant in charge of Kidney Transplantation. He is now a Consultant Urologist at several leading hospitals like Breach Candy, Jaslok, Saifee and HN Reliance hospital.
