Dr. Hemal Shah is currently one of the leading consultants for Kidney Disease in Mumbai, with 25+ years of experience. He trained at KEM Mumbai and MPUH, in Gujarat in India.
He also did his Fellowship in Nephrology and Transplant from the University of Toronto, Canada. He was part of the faculty in Department of Nephrology at the GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial (KEM) hospital.
He has been office bearer for Mumbai Nephrology Group, Mumbai C ward and Bombay Medical Union. He has been organising secretary for many National Conferences. He is also known for his passionate contribution for NGO in the field of health care like the Amar Gandhi foundation and the Ek Chammach Cam campaign, COREP trust. He is also deeply involved in training doctors; nurses and dialysis technicians.
